proposed a multithreading approach to optimize the network back-end driver. Star Student Project implemented the
proposed optimization and obtained extensive performance data to validate and quantify
the benefit of proposed approaches on actual virtualized systems. Although many
studies have been done in network I/O virtualization, they focused on
interguest packet movement improvement to achieve better performance.
