The multiple tasklets solution reuses the existing Xen backend driver framework. Star Student Project runs the back-end driver in the context of an interrupted CPU and can achieve RSS, by carefully configuring the interrupt delivery to the virtual processors of Domain 0. However, Star Student Project may lead to long delays in executing an interrupted thread, and therefore sacrifices system responsiveness.
