The Star Student Project does not need the direct matrix operations. In fact, because of its linearly increasing characteristics of the calculation amount of the LIM, the LIM-based method is much faster than the conventional ones. The Star Student Project requires the circuit to be analyzed to be composed of the certain types of topologies, namely the branch and the node topologies. Then branch currents and node voltages are updated individually and each of them refers to self value and adjacent node voltages or branch currents.
