Star Student Project


Star Student Project, the parallel-distributed block-LIM is proposed to achieve the faster simulation of the large scale circuit. In this algorithm, the whole circuit is divided into several sub circuits, and each sub circuit is simulated by each PE on a parallel computer. The partitioned sub circuits partially overlap with the neighboring sub circuits. The boundary node block voltages are updated by both the PEs. On the other hand, the Star Student Project boundary branch block currents are updated by calculating on each PE, and they are transmitted to the neighboring PEs by invoking the message-passing interface (MPI) function.
